However, most goal-setting seminars today charge an arm and a leg for an hour or so of pep talk. People who want to save money just read goal-setting articles. This way, they are able to get the message without having to pay a lot of cash to the speaker.
4) Objectivity - goal-setting articles can be studied from a neutral point of view. In a seminar, people are often overcome by the energy of their environment. People give standing ovations and feel that their lives have changed simply because of the hype caused by the cheering around them. However, by reading goal-setting articles, you can pick up the lessons without becoming a mindless fan.
